Why wont my wife make an effort?

Look this is normal. Life is busy with kids, work responsibilities etc. Once a week is quite normal but apparently it's not enough for you at the moment. I get what you're saying but there's peaks and troughs in every marriage. Give and take. Compromise. It's not about her not making the effort. There's just a lot going on. And doesn't just happen in the bedroom, it's all the in between stuff, the shared laughs you have, the loving words you say to her in appreciation for what she does, the secret stuff only you and her know about, the wink winks, the playful teasing etc. Put some fun and friendship back into your relationship. Stop with all the pressure. Life is pressure enough without you attaching additional selective criterias...Go on date nights. Have some fun together and the will come big man!!
