How can i tell if my house is haunted, i have had lots of strange encounters?

i woke up in the middle of the night, around 2 to 3 in the morning, i always wake up when someone is in my room. i was laying on my fewton on the ground and i looked at the end of it and there was this little girl with long black hair drooping over her face and she started walking towards me, i quickly wipped around and then looked back and she was gone. exactly a week later, (i didnt say anything to any one) the same thing happend to my mom. ive also woken up with my lights on and something with a terrifying voice said my name. and to this very day everyonce and a while i will be laying in bed watching tv and my bed will literly jump up. i also remember having a dream were my covers were getting pulled under my bed and when i woke up the next morning, they were all the way tucked under my bed in the corner. the tv in our house is always turning on by itself. we just got done watching my bloody valentine and we turned off the dvd player and stereo system and switched it to regular tv, we watched it for a lil bit and then shut it off and went to bed. me and my brother were fast asleep in our rooms but my mom was lying in bed because she heard something. she was just lying there and it was getting louder and louder. the main menu screen of the horror movie was playing and the stereo system was getting louder and louder. we turned everything off and switched the tv to cable, but it still happened. we built the house ourselves, but right wear we built it use to be a meadow surrounded by trees and it could not be seen from the road. someone please tell me if they think my house is haunted and if so, how can i contact the spirit?
