Salem as a name for a baby girl?

I asked this before but hardly got any answers. And only 2 people out of the 7 who answered liked it at all... What do you think of the name Salem for a baby girl? I know - the cigarettes, witch trials, the cat on Sabrina... all Salems... but all those aside, what do you think of the name itself? I want an uncommon name but nothing weird, long, or hard to pronounce. I was also thinking about Gracie and Makenna.
